Inner Journey 10:00am - 2:00pm

Needle & Thread for the Bed $48.00 per person includes admission to both Museums, take-home quilt block and hearth lunch. Spend your day weaving new memories from New Brunswick's 19th century past. At the Keillor House Museum start your own quilt block with instruction from resource experts, surrounded by some of the most breathtaking antique quilts ever crafted. Try the age-old practices of carding, spinning wool and throwing the weave shuttle.

Candlelight & Spaghetti Supper 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Candlelight & Spaghetti Supper $25.00 for family - 2 adults & 2 children or $14.00 for individuals. It's Spring - let's celebrate with candlelight, music and Spaghetti or Non meat sauce available upon request with green salad and Italian dessert. Wine available by the glass.

Putting on the Glitz - Mother's Day Tea- Two sittings: 1:00pm - 2:00pm & 3:00pm - 4:00pm

Official Opening Ceremony Keillor House Museum 2011 season

Come celebrate the opening of the 2011 season at the Keillor House Museum this weekend. Hours of operation are: Saturday 1pm - 5pm and Sunday noon - 5pm. Regular admission fee will apply.

Westmorland Historic Society Annual General Meeting $18.00

AGM for the Westmorland Historical Society Saturday June 18th. Supper served 5:30pm at the Trinity Anglican Church Hall, 4 Church St., Dorchester, NB. Meal provided by the church ladies auxiliary - Ham & Scallop dinner. Guest speaker will be Darrell Butler, Manager, Heritage Resources, Material Historian/Chief Curator,Kings Landing. Come celebrate Canada Day on the Keillor House Museum grounds from 2pm - 3 pm. Maritime music of Ivan and Vivian Hicks, organized children's games, cake and ice cream, prizes. Museum tours available before and after the celebrations.

Rug hookers bring your latest mat-hooking project to the St. Ed's Community Hall 4955 Main Street. Join other hookers to hook, visit and exchange ideas. We invite you to bring your mat projects for display. Visitors welcome - drop in and see the mat displays.

Weave a Tale - 11:00am - 3:00pm at St. James Textile Museum Free

"Weave a Tale" Keillor House & St James Museums 11am - 3pm Join in - try traditional methods. Start with raw wool and leave with yarn. Experience cleaning, washing and carding wool. See natural dyeing and try spinning wool to yarn. Shop for special products from the textile artisans gathered for the Sandpiper Festival. Museum- Admission: Free
